We are proud and excited to introduce you to the newest professional organization on the North Shore, the Professional Women of St. Tammany. Your voice was heard and this organization was developed to give the women in the community more of what they’ve been asking for.

Our focus is to provide educational workshops throughout the year which will allow members to network with other professional women. We will honor women who have achieved great success through our annual Professional Woman of the Year banquet. The proceeds of this banquet will fund our scholarship program for higher education expenses for the women of St. Tammany pursuing advancement in the workforce.

2012 Scholarship Annoucement:

 

St. Tammany Parish Women attending college or university or women continuing their education for professional reasons in 2012 are invited to apply for the Professional Women of St. Tammany 2012 Scholarship Program.  The Scholarship Program was established in 2009 and is funded through proceeds generated from our annual Professional Woman of the Year Banquet and local donations. This year we are proud to announce $15,000 has been collected and will be awarded to twelve (12) deserving women of St. Tammany pursuing higher education and advancement in the workforce. 

This scholarship is open ONLY to St. Tammany Parish female residents.

Scholarships will be awarded as follows:  two (2) $2,500 scholarships and ten (10) $1,000 scholarships.  Applications and Recommendation Forms can be found at www.pw-st.org and shall be postmarked no later than April 2, 2012.  Scholarships will be awarded to recipients at Professional Women of St. Tammany’s Monthly Luncheon on May 8, 2012.
